How You Can Help:

  • Donate. SAAC receives no government funding and relies 100 percent on private donations to offer Spay Day and other low-cost spay/neuter programs.
  • Become a sponsor. We are always looking for organizations that want to support Spay Day. Sponsors get promotional opportunities on Spay Day publicity materials. To find out more about Spay Day sponsorship, please email us. See the list of our Spay Day 2009 sponsors below.

  • Provide spay/neuter surgeries. Veterinary clinics and animal shelters in Sacramento, Yolo and Placer Counties donate their time and talent to make Spay Day a success. If your clinic would like to volunteer for this important community event, please email us. See the list of our Spay Day 2009 participating clinics below.

  • Volunteer. Volunteers perform a variety of tasks prior to Spay Day, such as appointment scheduling and pet packet assembly. We no longer need volunteers for Spay Day 2010, but if you would like to be notified of future Spay Day volunteer opportunities, please email us and we will add you to our volunteer database.
