Who is eligible?
Households in Sacramento, Yolo and Placer Counties earning $35,000 a year or less.

How do I make a Spay Day appointment?
Call (916) 808-SPAY [7729] and leave a message. Please leave a phone number where you can be easily reached. A volunteer appointment scheduler will return your call.

How much does Spay Day cost?
$15 per cat
$20 per dog

Limit two pets per household.

What does each animal receive on Spay Day?

  - Spay or neuter surgery 
  - Core vaccinations 
  - Microchip identification
  - Dose of flea preventative

Where does Spay Day take place?
At approximately 20 vet clinics and animal shelters in Sacramento, Placer and Yolo Counties. When you make an appointment, you will be assigned a time and a location.

What if I don't get an appointment on Spay Day?
